The Twin City Future Innovation Manufacturing Hub (2C FIMH) is a cross-border project that promotes innovation in the manufacturing sector in Vienna and Bratislava. The aim is to develop a joint innovation strategy, implement pilot projects and intensify cooperation between companies, start-ups and universities. Accent plays a key role in supporting and developing start-ups as well as integrating and supporting SMEs through tailor-made programs. The accent Makerspace serves as a central location for interregional collaboration, where start-ups can jointly develop prototypes and drive innovation. The project is being implemented as part of the EU funding program INTERREG SK-AT and includes joint workshops, expert panels and the development of a sustainable operating model. In the long term, the hub is intended to serve as a central platform for knowledge transfer and cross-border innovation in order to strengthen the region's competitiveness.
